Some customers have reported that the battery life of the Mictrack MT710 is short during testing. Upon investigation, we found that some devices are operating in weak network environments, which significantly impacts battery life.
If you experience similar issues, we recommend checking the network signal strength first. You can use the CSQ command to verify if the network signal is strong or weak.
CSQ Info
When the device powers on and connects to the network, it will print the CSQ value.
The CSQ on the Mictrack MT710 refers to signal strength, indicating the RSSI strength. The value range is 0-31; the higher the value, the better the signal.
- If the CSQ value is greater than 15, the signal is good, and the device should work normally.
- If the CSQ value is less than 15, the signal is weak, and the device may not work properly.
- If the CSQ value is 99, the channel is invalid, and the network is unavailable.
