The Mictrack MT700 backup battery is replaceable. If you need to swap it out, this post will show you how to remove the battery safely.
Power OFF Device
- Please make sure the device is POWER OFF.
Open Back Cover
- Remove the screws and open the back cover.
Remove Backup Battery
Important Safety Note:
Do not pull directly on the red and black wires, as this may damage the connector or break the wires.
Always hold the white plastic connector itself during removal.
- As shown in Image 4, use your fingertip to press and hold down the raised latch on the plug.
- While holding the latch down, gently pull the plug out.
How To Remove the MT700 Battery
Install Backup Battery
- As shown in Image 1, this is the battery plug; Image 2 is the corresponding socket inside the device.
- Ensure the raised side of the plug is facing up (as shown in Image 1). Do not force it in the wrong way.
- Firmly push the plug into the socket until it is fully secured, as shown in Image 3.
