How to Adjust the Vibration Sensitivity on MT700

If you want to adjust/calibrate the (G-sensor) vibration sensitivity on MT700, this command is available.

SMS Command

Command format: #999#user password#wake-up threshold#vibrate threshold#vibrate sensitivity#vibrate detection time##
For example:#999#0000#70#70#2#1##
Reply: SET GSENSOR OK.

USB Command

Command format: 999,wake-up threshold,vibrate threshold,vibrate sensitivity,vibrate detection time
For example:999,70,70,2,1
Reply: 999,OK.

Command format: GSEN,wake-up threshold,vibrate threshold,vibrate sensitivity,vibrate detection time
For example: GSEN,70,70,2,1
Reply: #IMEI#REPLY#GSEN,OK

It is recommended to use the default values unless you understand the parameters in the command.

Parameter Description

Wake-up Threshold

Used to trigger the transition from idle state to vibration-detection state. Range: 1–125 mg, default: 70 mg.

Vibrate Threshold

The vibration magnitude considered valid during detection. Range: 10–2000 mg, default: 70 mg.

Vibrate Sensitivity

The required number of valid vibration events during detection. Range: 1–32 times, default: 2 times.

Vibrate Detection time

The duration of each vibration-detection cycle. Range: 1–10 minutes, default: 1 minute.

Note

The default values are the optimal combination obtained from field testing. It is not recommended for customers to modify them. If adjustments are necessary, please contact customer support for guidance.

This command is also available for MT710/MT600/MT600-NB/MT600.

What is the default G-sensor setting?
The default is GSEN,70,70,2,1.
How to change G-sensor sensitivity?
If the default is not sensitive enough for your use case, you can try the command GSEN,65,65,2,1 to improve the sensitivity. If you still want to improve it, please try GSEN,60,60,2,1.
